BEHIND THE LENS
I love photography.
My mind is free when I shoot; I don’t have any plan or any goal.
I trust my instinct; I let it speak to my brain.
My visual environment feeds my inspiration.
It can be a living being, a sunset, a shadow, a street, a building, a train, a movement, a color, a stone, the wind or the sand.
I am half Spanish/Portuguese, born in Lisbon and raised in Brussels.
Diversity is part of who I am and this is another reason why I don’t feel compelled to have a primary subject.
For me the best photo is the one that has the magical capacity of creating an emotion.
Everyone has its own past and history and this is what makes us all different and special.
I don’t expect people to see what I saw and certainly not to feel what I felt.
There isn’t any defined interpretation to my work; you will have your own interpretation of it.
I like to think that to some extend, I’m free to think what I want, do what I want and feel what I want. And so are you.
I hope you will enjoy watching my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
